As from 1 July 2021 SaddleDrunk Cycling Club is operated by SaddleDrunk Cycling Club Ltd (“the Club”). This year therefore, I acknowledge that my “renewal” operates as an application to join as a member of the company. I understand that if admitted my membership benefits, rights and obligations are governed by the Articles of Association. Under these Articles, membership of the Club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport on application, regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs, except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of cycling. Additionally, the Club will keep subscriptions at levels that will not pose a significant obstacle to people participating. I note that, subject to the Articles, the directors may make further rules or codes of practice governing the use of any facilities; the operation of the cycling activities; and the conduct expected of members. Such rules and codes must be complied with by the membership or any class of members to which they are directed. I can withdraw from membership by giving 7 days’ notice in writing. Membership is not transferable. Non-payment of my annual subscription is a ground for removal of membership. I note that the terms of membership limit my liability to contribute towards the debts and costs of the company in the event of an insolvency to £1 (one pound). Membership confers a right to vote at meetings including in the election of the directors of the Club. By acknowledging this checkbox, I also agree to the Club's privacy policy.
